I have been doing a bit of work on decorating my studio lately. We moved the ribbon rack to the inside of the closet door...
Painted one wall orange and made this fun bunting,
Created another bunting for another wall, then made these mixed media pieces,
Here are some close ups of the two pieces on the wall with the dahlias...
Then I covered a clock in feathers,
made a kite,
painted and glittered a Scrabble rack and put together the word Sparkle with some crystals on it,
and covered another rack with fabric for my own nick name, Super TaDa.
Now I am working on a shadow box for my granddaughter...
I still have a long list of things to make. I think my next mixed media piece will have one of our cute little yardstick airplanes incorporated in it and have a saying about living from your imagination. Stay tuned!

Valentine's Gift Tags
My daughter has an etsy shop where she sells woven shawls. She recently sold seven of them to a co-worker and the customer requested gift-wrap. Since Elizabeth wanted to do the job as inexpensively as possible without it looking "cheap" we decided the best option was to put them in robe boxes and wrap them with red paper and add a tag.
Paper crafting is not her favorite pastime, so I offered to do them for her.
Here are five of the tags.
Here is a close-up of one. The little square is for the name of the recipient.
