All these are cards I sold this week.

Floral Tribute

This is the first chance I have had to use these cool patterned paper flowers.  I chose a simple background so the flowers wouldn't get lost in busy-ness.  This is one of a special order, so it is not for sale, but I have LOTS of these flowers, and would love to make you a card with them!

Manly Birthday Cards

These are all part of a special order I have been working on, so they are not for sale.  
5.5" square card has a book pocket adhered to the front.  Strips of coordinating paper have words hand lettered on them, to reenforce the sentiment: A Pocket FULL of Wishes for a Happy Birthday.  Buttons and simple ribbon join the dimensionally adhered sentiment box to give the 3D look.  The card comes with a navy blue mailing envelope.
This card and the next were both made from scraps I dug out of my stash. Six different companies' products are represented on the top card!
The main feature I like about this and the next card is the metal "clip" embellishment. They add dimension without making the cards frilly.  

Special Order Cards

These cards were all special ordered, so they are not for sale, but I wanted to post photos, anyway so you could see other work I have done in case you would like something similar. I don't, as a general rule, duplicate my work, primarily because I often use paper that is no longer available, but also because I like the idea that each of my creations is unique--just like the recipient.

This is a 5X5 square card. These are a little more expensive because they use more paper, and the envelopes are more costly to purchase.

This card is 5X7. I had to go to a larger card to accommodate the golf-bag die cut, which was the element around which I designed the card.

I think I may have posted photos of this before. I still think it's a pretty cool card! The candy wrappers are adhered to chipboard, then mounted onto the card. Inside reads, Wishing you a bliss-filled birthday.

Sassafrass Lass Serendipity Cards

I always think "this is my favorite card" when I make something fun like this, and I'm afraid I said the same thing when I finished this beribboned birthday greeting. A sturdy chipboard tag is covered with striped paper, then stamped with the sentiment. The little birthday cake was stamped on plain white card, cut, colored and glittered, then raised up on 3D adhesive, drawing the eye to its cuteness! The card measures 4.25X5.5 inches and is plain smooth white inside. A white envelope is included. Cost: $4.00;  SOLD shipping extra.

I LOVE the way this turned out! Using the same paper (I think in all I made five cards from this one sheet of double-sided beauty!) I cut thin strips and pieced a frame, then adhered LOTS of buttons and the ocassional rhinestone to it. I stamped Oh Baby! in aquamarine ink, then chalked over the surface of the text box. A small strip of the reverse side of the paper peaks out from the right hand edge, and a two layered knot of organza ribbons has a mini-safety-pin stuck in it and is glued on top. The text box is applied with dimensional adhesive, so it is about as high on the card as the tops of the buttons. Extra postage will be required to send this card. Cost: $4.00, SOLD shipping extra.

Alligator Purse Card

Doesn't every woman need a blue alligator purse? Well, maybe not a real one, but I bet your friend or relative would like this one if you wrote something fun inside! (or slipped in a gift card for her favorite store!) The flaps of the textured paper card open up to give a clean white writing surface. The handle is loopy metalic "ribbon" on wire, so it holds its shape well. The envelope included is a frosty off-white vellum. This will be a treasured card for the recipient! Manly Cards

I think it's pretty hard to find a neat card for a guy. Well, that is if you don't want something raunchy. I'm not sure that these are all that spectacular, but I wouldn't be embarrassed to send them, either!
Not really a birthday card, although I can add sentiment inside on an insert, but this is a fun one for the musician in your life. The acid green card is also green on the back, but blank white inside. I have layered white card stock and hand made paper, then added corners and the sentiment, also on card stock. The guitar is a really old die cut I found in my stash. Cost: $2.50, shipping extra. SOLD

Oh, I like this card! The fun stars are similar to what a kid would doodle, but they are filled with cute designs and patriotic colors. The sentiment is printed on white card, then layered on red, then star-embossed blue. The same red has been torn into a narrow strip and adhered with dimensional adhesive on the side, and embellished with three sewn on buttons. A little bow tied on the strip of matching floss adds to the lines and whimsical flavor. It is just tied in a bow, so if you think the guy receiving it might be a little uncomfortable with it, removal is easy. Inside is blank and white for you to pen your own sentiment, although as with all my creations, I am happy to print something on an insert and mount it inside if you like at no extra charge. This was my first experiment with this cool mylar galvinized looking paper. It is layered on corrogated black, and embellished with pieced diecuts and adhered with screw-head brads. Inside it reads Happy Birthday. Cost: $3.00, shipping extra. SOLD (may require extra postage for mailing.)

This is another card similar to the last one, only it just has a tool box on the front, and a small round greeting that says, "Happy Birthday Dad!" Screw head brads add even more of a manly look to this fun card. Blank inside, white envelope. Cost: $3.00, shipping extra. SOLD

Old Guys Rule, that's for sure! This card features an old guy in a hammock, snoozing under the tropical sun. The blank interior leaves the purpose up to you. It would be a great birthday greeting, retirement card, or just an all purpose note card to some old guy you know. Cost: $2.50, shipping extra.

Valentine's Day Cards

These cards are suitable for any love related giving, not just Valentine's Day, but since that little holiday is coming right up (just over a month away!) it's not too soon to be thinking about it.

This card is one of my favorites. It doesn't say anything on it except for the faint text printed on the light colored strip that repeats YOU AND ME over and over. The ribbon is shimmery organza with a little glittery swirl pattern, and I added some heart shaped metal brads to anchor it down. The paper flower is layered, with the flower underneath barely showing its inked petals. The brown paper leaves complete the shabby chic look, and I have paired the (blank white interior) card with a brown kraft paper envelope. Cost: $3.00. Shipping extra. The photograph slightly captures the shimmer of the iridescent paper, which features a variety of loverly shapes and words. The little pink tickets are embellished with X & O eyelets.
