New Journals
In addition to the checkbook covers, tins and other things I made last week, I also covered some composition books. The first is with an Africa: Countries of the Nile map from 1963. The next is an aeronautical sectional map of Texas. The last one is from some of my favorite papers and a pocket from a pair of pants my daughter wore out. I like to recycle things...

Custom Journals and new dominoes
These were special order journals. I find it more difficult to come up with products for men and boys because I don't see the appeal but the buyer was happy, and that is all that counts!
The two dominoes on the right were a special order, but the others will soon be available on the etsy shop.

Journals and Note Card Sets
Lest you think I had been idle, I thought I might post a few pictures, even if they are not up to our usual photographic standard... The first ones are journals that I had made and sent elsewhere to sell. They may have been photographed before, but here they are again. Titles and prices follow the photos.
Then, I have a few note card sets finished and they are shown as a set only--no individual photos of cards like Dave usually takes. Hopefully they are good enough representations to determine if they are something you would like or not! You can click on the images to enlarge them for more detail if you like.

New Journals
Today was a busy day! I didn't create all this stuff today, but I haven't posted any of it yet because I didn't have pictures until tonight. It will all be up on the website in a while. Ornery is working on installing a shopping cart so it may be a little while. Won't that be cool to be able to order online?? I hope so!

Leather and Lace Journal
There has been a lot of experimenting going on in the MMD studio today!
- I hand cut leather flowers
- I sewed on seed beads
- I used a wood burner
This journal was very time consuming, but I was on a substantial learning curve! I don't know how true the colors are on the screen, but it is pretty bright and cheery, and it has that handy pocket on the front to store a pen and notes or whatever.

Red and Black Journal
Cleaning up led me to a new direction-- I cut pockets off some jeans and corduroy pants that were otherwise ruined, and discovered the fun rose trim in a drawer. The paper was from a kit I used most of a couple of months ago, and it all came together so beautifully!

Three New Journals
Two of these journals were meant for gifts at the recent Toastmaster Party I hosted, but they weren't needed, so I am posting them for sale here. :) The first one didn't have any embellishment on it when I gave it, but I remedied that today! Click on the image to make it larger. Each journal has 100 pages of college ruled paper. Cost: $12.00 each
